Women Take Issue

“Women Take Issue” will exhibit in three galleries at the beautiful Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center from February 4, 2022 through February 25th. Opening Reception is during the amazing Ft Myers Art walk oh Friday, February 4 from 6 to 10 pm.

Three galleries will be filled with this women’s exhibit. The Main Atrium Gallery features Social Justice Commentary works by artists Patricia Anderson Turner, Beau Wild, and Fran Gardner and others.

The Conservatory Gallery features sellected pieces from the OURstory and HERstory Collections from DC as curated by Susanne Miller Jones.

The Upstairs Capital Gallery features “The Female Spririt: all Fired Up, All Stitched Down” with sculptor Katty Smith and fiber artist Linda Hoffmeister.

“GUNNED DOWN GRANDSONS” has received 2nd place in this dramatic exhibit.

Virtual Reception Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 pm.

The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), the oldest women’s fine art organization in the country, ( 132 years) is a vibrant community of juried professional women artists that strives to support its members and women artists at large through exhibitions, programs and education.
